About the Author

In addition to running a growing business, Nova Medical Products, Sue Chen is a philanthropist, a classical music lover, an avid scuba diver and a spokesperson for protecting the worlds oceans. Sue is a Director for NAWBO-LA (National Association of Women Business Owners), YPO member, Trustee of the California Lutheran University Board of Regents, President of Reef Check Foundation and Director of Shark Savers. In 2011 she helped successfully lobby the California legislature to protect endangered shark species, was a finalist for the prestigious Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award, recipient of the Community Leadership Award from the Presidents Council on Fitness, Sports and Nutrition, her company was named Supplier of the Year by Amerisourcebergen for the second year in a row and most recently, she was named one of the ten Most Powerful Women Entrepreneurs in Fortune Magazines Most Powerful Women Issue. She is proud to now add author to her list of accomplishments.

Becoming a Walker Stalker in 6 Easy Steps:

Steps 1 & 2 No Frame

1. Carry a pair of NOVA Walker Skis in your handbag, glove compartment, backpack, satchel....Hey, they might even fit in your back pocket!2. Start paying attention to people using walkers on the street, in grocery stores, at the mall, even at the health club.It wont be too long until you see someone with a walker that has tennis balls stuck on the back (Don't ask us how this tennis ball thing started; We dont understand it either!)

Steps 3 & 4 3. Walk up to that person and politely say, "Excuse me" nicely and with a smile, just like your mother taught you to do.4. Ask that person if you might replace those tennis balls with Walker Skis that, unlike tennis balls, are made specifically to help walkers glide more easily without the risks that tennis balls pose (Tennis balls keep the equipment from functioning properly, track germs, and lets be honest, they look undignified and lack style). Let the person know it will take a minute!

5. Sit them down in a safe place, pull those yucky tennis balls off of the walker (you might want to use gloves!), whip out your Walker Skis to the rescue and slip them on the back legs of the walker. Ta da!6. Smile and say good-bye knowing youve just paid it forward, NOVA style!
